The ranch, Finca Malpasillo, is located in Las Gabias, just 6 miles from downtown Granada, in Andalusia.  The ranch covers more than 200 acres of hills filled with olive and almond trees, separated by a valley from the snowy hilltops of Sierra Nevada (30 miles to the the southernmost ski station in Europe). Although theranch is only 40 miles away fromthe Mediterranean, the climate is very similar to that ofthe American Southwest, since Granada is surrounded by mountains.  The property has been in our family since the 1970's.  Once an exclusively produce (olive oil, almonds, barley), livestock (goats, sheep, horses) and hunting operation, today Finca Malpasillo offers a variety of activities including rural school, campgrounds, horse routes, riding lessons, restaurant, antiques, hunting grounds and others.
