INQUIETO: Bay Andalusian (Pure Spanish Horse) stallion born in Las Gabias (Granada, Andalusia, Spain) on January 31, 1993. Inquieto is the son of Jenson, a Yeguada Militar (or the National Stud ranch, managed by the military) stallion, and Cobriza. Jenson was one of the leading stallions at Yeguada Militar in recent times. Cobriza is half sister to the stallion Guadalimar (the mare Guadalimar is their dam), currently one the most awarded stallions in Spain. Inquieto is a stallion approved for reproduction by "Cría Caballar", the Spanish Government agency in charge of the Andalusian registry. That means that a tribunal formed by a breeder, a veterinarian and a high rank officer of the Spanish Army examined him at age 3 and determined that his conformation and attitude were appropriate for the Andalusian breed. Inquieto is built in the classic Andalusian style, with a powerful neck, round curves and thick mane and tail. Our children can ride him safely because of his noble temperament. Inquieto was first ridden at age 4, and was imported into the United States in 1998. He has competed successfully in dressage (training level) and halter. In the year 2000 the United States Dressage Federation awarded Inquieto the THIRD PLACE IN THE NATION as purebred Andalusian competing in training level." Inquieto is currently retired from competition, but is ready for breeding in Hillsboro, Ohio. Cooled semen is also available. Click here to see blood lines.
